ouch.... and for your entertainment heres what I have been thinking The Joys and tribulations of a webcomic Blood Bound, the story of a generic vampire girl, who bites fucks and generally has a good time with no character development, lasting perhaps a year or 18 months at most. That was the plan. The reality however is that Blood Bound has developed a life of its own. The amount of characters blossomed from one, to two to several. Each one has their own lives, minds and psychologies. From an original idea to its current state has taken the artist by suprise. Especially as it has made him research many different things that seem to be wanting to be incorporated into the story, lesbianism, polyamoury, racism, forced marriage, protection of children, morality ect. None of these were ever intended to be a part of Blood Bound. Jinni has become more than just a damaged minded blood sucker that discovers the joy of sex to a complex individual capable of loyalties and even a relationship flying in the face of her protectors wishes Sassy was originally referred in the scripts as “Generic Succubus” and was not intended for more than a few pages. Since then she has had significant development as a character and even have had a few story arcs dedicated to her. Christine was intended as a background character that was going to be recurring but undeveloped. Her job was to be a “home” for Jinni as she goes out to kill and seduce. In time she became a complex individual that acknowledges her own hypocrisy in regard to her relationship styles. (IE she is polyamourous but prefers all her lovers to be monogomous to her) Sorrows, Like Sassy was not intended to be there for more than a couple pages, but in time she also has had story based around her. Also her relationship with Christine has been expanded and she can be seen as the calm voice for Christine's jealousies with her other relationships. Anubis is possibly the less developed character in the story, though he does seem to range from being sexually promiscuous to being a polictialy manipulative and extremely serious individual when required.
